1. | OFFICERS REPORTS | Vice President position is still open. Seeking a volunteer to fill the position. Treasurer Report: Paul Blomgren, report voted and accepted unanimously. Secretary Report: Susan Walker, Minutes voted and accepted unanimously. |
2. | OLD BUSINESS | Repeater Report: Steve Warner: Repeaters appear fine. Steve made the suggestion for the group to tend to the land where the Centerton repeater resides. There grass is overgrown and ticks are numerous. Steve will venture out and start mowing. |
3. | NEW BUSINESS | Net report: The usual line up will be altered since one net control will be out of town. Neverthe- less, the weekly net-controller line up will return in August. Net Controls: 1st. Van Allen; 2nd. Susan Walker; 3rd. Steve Werner; 4th. Darryl Waggoner; 5th. Darryl Waggoner. Net Controllers please publicize that BCRO meetings are virtual via the BCRO website. Minutes are provided by Susan Walker FREE Testing: Testing continues the 3rd Saturday of the month at Cross Church in Springdale. Preregister is made through Darryl Waggoner. FIELD DAY– Rick Pope reported on a new event that occurred in Springdale at Randal Tyson and Rotary Adventure Park, 4303 Watkins Ave. Springdale, AR 72762. It was an effort to establish a new Field Day location where members of various groups from the vicinity gathered. Several individuals gathered. There were 100 + QSO’s. Some individuals did Field Day from home, including BCRO members. PRESENTATION BY Steve Werner: RADIO RECIEVERS. Choheres, Crystal, Regenerative, TRF, Direct Conversion, Superhetrodyhne, and SDR. Q & A.

DISCUSSION: TREX 2025 event. Assisting a member getting and antenna up so he can have HF. A long-time member of BCRO, Bill Dean, has relocated to Galena, Kansas. On-line Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7 pm available via BCRO.org website. |
