Laurel VEC Testing Sessions

Please see our Event Calendar for available testing dates and times.

Requirements to test:

  • Photo ID from a government source.
  • Any CSCE you would like to claim
  • This is a free exam so there will be no need to bring cash or check.

Due to the closure of Rogers Public Library from COVID-19,
all BCRO testing dates for the immediate future have been canceled.

Interested in acquiring your Amateur Radio License?

Benton County Radio Operators sponsors testing sessions on the 4th Saturday of each month, except November and December, which are held on the 3rd Saturday due to holidays. Testing is not offered in January. Testing takes place at 3 pm at the Rogers Public Library – Gotzbecker Room.

Please make sure to bring the following items with you:

  • Number 2 pencil
  • 2 forms of ID
  • Copy of current License (if upgrading)
  • $15 cash

Study Tools

If you are looking for help in studying, you can obtain a copy of the current American Radio Relay League License Manual from your local bookstore or Amazon. In addition, there are several online exam preps to help you with the question pools.
