1. | OFFICERS REPORTS | Treasurer Report: Treasure Randy Estess treasure’s report was voted upon and accepted unanimously. Secretary Report: Secretary Susan Walker, Minutes voted and accepted unanimously. |
2. | OLD BUSINESS | Repeater Report: Steve Werner reported on repeaters. The club is still waiting on the new owner’s full disclosure of the club’s status. New owners have been to the repeater site and changed some locks. Consultation with John Williams has occurred. Chris Daniels is a person to also consult. |
3. | NEW BUSINESS | Net report: Net lineup was reviewed. Net Controls: 1. Van Allen; 2. Susan Walker; 3. Steve Werner; 4. Lisa Johnson; 5. Lisa Johnson. . Net Controllers please publicize that BCRO meetings can be attended virtually via the BCRO website. Thank you to everyone for helping. Thank you to Lisa.
Testing: Testing continues the 3rd Saturday of the month at Cross Church in Springdale. Preregister is made through Darryl Wagoner. Email: darryl@waggoner.me A request for VE’s is ongoing.
Website: Currently, Van Allen is assisting with the website and doing a great job. Web ideas continue to be discussed. Platforms are discussed.
Window Display: Display at Rogers Library is scheduled for May 2024. It is to draw the public interest to Amateur Radio. Theme is intended to focus on “Women In Amateur Radio”. Please speak to Susan, Secretary, with your ideas.
FUTURE EVENTS: Hogeye Marathon and Relays are being considered. Liaison is Rick Pope.
EDUCTIONAL TALK: Presented by Will Rogers, “A CENTURY OF WWV”, by Glenn K. Nelson. Historical review of the beginning of amateur radio and it’s advancements.
Members are still experimenting filming the presentations.
NEWS: WATCH OUT FOR THOSE LIBRARY TABLES. THEY JUST MIGHT PUT ANY OF USE OUT OF COMMISSION!
