  1. The meeting was opened by President Doug Shultz KD5DAS.
  2. All present self-introduced and all signed the attendance log. A total of 19 members and guests were present for the meeting. The original copy of the attendance log is attached to these minutes and is retained in the secretary file.
  3. The treasurers’ report was given by treasurer Gregg Doty N5RGD. The report indicated a balance in the club treasury of $1851.36. The treasurers’ report was approved by a vote of the membership. A copy of the treasurers’ report is attached to these minutes and is retained in the secretary file.
  4. The reading of minutes from the previous meeting was waived by vote of membership because the minutes are posted on the club web page.
  5. President Doug reminded members and guests of the December meeting which will be the annual club Christmas party meeting. It will be a pot luck to be held December 10th at the Rogers Library. All are welcome. The annual election of officers will be the only item of club business at the December meeting.
  6. All four officer positions will be up for election. Each of the incumbents have declined to seek re-election. Nominations should be submitted to member Wayne Patton K5UNX.
  7. Member Shane Fitzmaurice W5ZQI gave a report on planning about sight selection for next years field day activities.
  8. Wayne Patton gave the evenings program on his ham radio station and antennas that he has build. The program was well presented and well received by the group. Thanks Wayne!
  9. Member Rick Pope KG5MWG gave a report, a preview of next months program that he will present on station and equipment grounding.
  10. Member Darryl Wagoner WA1GON gave a report on the possibility of the BCRO Club becoming a “point of contact” for the local chapter of the Red Cross. Darryl will meet with the BCRO board next month to further explore that issue.
  11. There was group discussion on the question of insurance issues for the club, about liability and insurance on club equipment. Treasure Gregg Doty will check on the issue and have a report by next months board meeting.
  12. Darryl Wagoner discussed ham clubs in the Oklahoma City, OK area.
  13. Paul Blomgren KC7DQY discussed ham radio clubs in the Tulsa, OK area.
  14. Being no further business, the meeting adjourned before 9 PM.
